Refund Policy
Version 3.7 · Last updated: October 7, 2026
1. Scope
This Policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions of avimath, a service provided by Avimath LLC, a Wyoming (United States) limited liability company. It applies to all users of the Service, subject to the minimum-age, place-of-use, and sanctions conditions set out in Section 3 of the Terms.
It covers the avimath Premium subscription, which costs USD 15 per month plus applicable taxes and renews automatically each month until you cancel it. The price of avimath is set in United States dollars (USD). If the payment is shown to you in your local currency, that figure is an estimate converted at the payment processor's exchange rate, and the amount charged and refunded in your currency may differ slightly because of the exchange rate and bank fees. The treatment of taxes in a refund is explained in Section 5.
Depending on your country, the charge may be made by Sold through Link, LLC ("Link"), an affiliate of Stripe, Inc., as the merchant of record (see paragraph 3 of Section 7 of the Terms); in that case, the refund is returned to the same payment method and the charge may appear on your statement as "LINK.COM*" or another name used by the payment processor.
Nothing in this Policy limits any rights that the law of your country of residence grants you on a non-waivable basis. This Policy applies without prejudice to Section 21.3 of the Terms ("Mandatory Consumer Rights") and to Section 10 of this Policy.
2. Free Trial: No Charges to Refund
- Free trial of 72 hours or 50 calculations. It begins when you confirm your email address and ends after 72 consecutive clock hours or when you complete 50 calculations, whichever comes first; it gives you access to the same calculators and features as Premium, with the cap of 50 calculations, and does not require a card. When it ends, nothing is charged: the account is blocked until you decide to purchase Premium. We recommend that you use the trial to confirm that avimath meets your needs before you purchase Premium.
- There is no permanent free plan: the trial is the only thing offered without payment.
The trial may be used only once per person and email address and is subject to Section 5 of the Terms.
Because the trial generates no charges, this Policy applies only to amounts actually charged for the Premium subscription.
3. 14-Day No-Questions-Asked Guarantee
If, within 14 calendar days after your first charge, you decide that avimath is not for you, contact us and we will refund the full amount of that charge, without your having to give a reason and without penalty, except as stated under "Exclusion" below.
This is a commercial condition offered by avimath, on these terms:
- Once per customer: it is granted for the first charge of your first Premium subscription. It does not apply to renewals or to any later new subscription. We verify this condition when we process each request.
- Deadline: we must receive your request within 14 calendar days after the date of that first charge, which is the date shown on the payment processor's receipt.
- Amount: the full charge, with no deduction for the days already used.
- How: as described in Section 7.
- Effect: because it is a full refund, Premium access ends and the subscription is canceled (Section 5).
- Exclusion: the guarantee does not apply when avimath suspends or closes your account due to a material breach of the Terms (as defined in paragraph 4 of Section 18 of the Terms: fraud, prohibited automated use, sharing the account after notice, or a breach of Section 14 that is intentional, repeated, or causes significant harm), in accordance with Section 18 of the Terms.
The 14-day guarantee is a commercial refund policy: it does not replace any warranties or rights that the law grants to consumers. Its conditions do not limit any non-waivable right that the law of your country grants you, including the statutory right of withdrawal in Section 10. The guarantee and that right are not cumulative for the same charge: whichever is more favorable to you applies.
Outside the guarantee (after 14 days from the first charge, and for all renewals), the general rule applies: the subscription is paid in advance, and amounts already charged are not refunded for a change of mind or for lack of use, except in the cases described in Section 4 or where the law provides otherwise. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period already paid (Section 6).
4. Other Refund Cases and Exclusions
In addition to the guarantee in Section 3, and even if those 14 days have passed, we grant refunds in the following cases:
- Duplicate charge or billing error: a full refund of the amount overcharged. The refund of a duplicate charge does not affect Premium access or the subscription.
- Charge made after a properly completed cancellation: a full refund of that charge.
- Prolonged unavailability of the Service attributable to avimath: a refund prorated to the days on which the Service was unavailable.
- Premium access never activated due to a technical failure that we do not resolve within a reasonable time: a full refund.
- Closure of your account or termination of the Service by avimath that is not due to a material breach on your part and is not attributable to you (for example, a security risk not attributable to you, an order from an authority, or a significant harm not attributable to you; Section 18 of the Terms): a prorated refund of the unused portion of the period already paid. In this case, the subscription and Premium access end on the date of the closure or on the date stated in the notice. A closure for non-payment does not give rise to a refund, because there is no paid period outstanding.
No refunds are granted, outside the guarantee in Section 3, the cases above, and whatever the law grants you, for: lack of use of the Service; a change of mind after the deadline; unmet expectations about features that are accurately described on the website; disagreement with the result of a calculation where the result is not the consequence of a failure of avimath; incompatibility with the user's equipment or browser, unless avimath has stated on the website that they are compatible; or when avimath suspends or closes the account due to a material breach of the Terms by the user, as defined in paragraph 4 of Section 18 of the Terms (in that case, the guarantee in Section 3 does not apply either). In the event of a disagreement about a calculation, it is for us to show that the Service worked in accordance with the contract.
5. Effect of a Refund on Access, Taxes, and Currency
- Full refund of a charge: Premium access ends at the time of the refund, the subscription is canceled, and no further charges will be made. The exceptions are the refund of a duplicate charge and the refund of a charge belonging to an earlier or already canceled subscription (cases 1 and 2 of Section 4), which do not affect access or the current subscription.
- Partial refund (for example, the prorated refund for unavailability under Section 4): Premium access and the subscription continue as normal, except in in case 5 of Section 4, in the cancellation with a prorated refund under paragraph 7 of Section 8 of the Terms, in the termination for a change to the Service under paragraph 6 of Section 21.3 of the Terms, in the British Columbia cancellation after renewal (paragraph 7 of Section 21.3 of the Terms), and in the closure of the account or termination of the Service by avimath with a prorated refund (paragraphs 3 and 4 of Section 18 of the Terms), which end the subscription and Premium access (in those cases we cancel the subscription ourselves when we process the refund). If the partial refunds of a single charge add up to its total amount, the full-refund rule applies.
- When the subscription ends because of a cancellation (at the end of the paid period), a failed payment, a chargeback, or a full refund, the account is blocked: there is no free plan to return to, and the calculators stay locked until you pay again. Settings and the management of your files remain accessible (you can list, download, and delete them), and you can delete your account at any time.
- Taxes: every refund includes the taxes charged with the refunded payment, in the same proportion as the amount refunded.
- Currency and bank processing times: the price is set in USD, and refunds are made to the same payment method used. If you see amounts in your local currency, they are an estimate converted at the processor's exchange rate, and the amount refunded in your currency may differ slightly because of the exchange rate and bank fees. In the statutory withdrawal under Section 10, the refund will not cost you anything. The time it takes to appear in your account depends on your bank or card issuer, not on avimath.
6. Canceling Your Subscription Is Not Requesting a Refund
These are two different actions:
- Canceling stops all future charges. On its own, it does not return any money for the period already paid, except as provided in this Policy or by law.
- Requesting a refund asks for the return of an amount already charged (Sections 3, 4, 7, and 10, and the refunds provided for in paragraph 7 of Section 8 and in Section 21.3 of the Terms).
Renewal and cancellation: the subscription renews every month until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time, before or after the renewal date, online and with no charge or other penalty, with the "Cancel or manage subscription" button in "Settings → Subscription", which opens our payment processor's secure portal. When you cancel from that portal, we confirm the cancellation to you by email. If you cancel after a renewal has been charged, the cancellation prevents the following charges but does not refund that charge, except as provided in Sections 3 and 4, by law, or, if you reside in British Columbia (Canada), the refund of the prorated portion of the renewed period that you have not used (paragraph 7 of Section 21.3 of the Terms). See also Section 8 of the Terms.
Effect of cancellation:
- It stops all future charges from that moment: no further renewal charges are made after cancellation.
- You keep Premium access until the end of the period already paid; after that, Premium access ends and what Section 5 says about the state of the account applies.
- There is no prorated refund for the days remaining in the current period, unless the request falls within the guarantee in Section 3, within one of the cases in Section 4, or within a right that the law grants you.
Changes to price or usage limits: if we change the price or the usage limits of your plan, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the renewal date on which the change will first apply. The notice will include the new price or limit (as it will stand), a clear explanation of the change, that renewal date (which is the date the change takes effect), and how to cancel. The change never applies within a period already paid. If you do not accept it, you can cancel at no charge or other penalty before that renewal. We will change the price or limits only for objective reasons (infrastructure or supplier costs, taxes, legal changes, or substantial improvements to the Service). Technical request limits (per minute or per hour) are not plan usage limits; they may be adjusted for security or stability reasons, with prior notice where not urgent, but never to a level that prevents normal individual use of the plan as advertised; a reduction that does so is treated as a change to the plan's usage limits and is governed by paragraph 7 of Section 8 of the Terms. If your law requires your express consent to the change, or gives you the right to cancel after the first charge at the new price, paragraph 7 of Section 8 of the Terms applies, and prevails in case of any discrepancy.
Deleting your account cancels the subscription immediately, without preserving the remainder of the paid period. If, because of a technical incident, we cannot cancel it immediately, we will cancel it manually without generating further charges. Deleting your account does not replace a refund request: any refund to which you are entitled (Sections 3, 4, and 10 and the law) must still be requested and is processed in the same way. If you want a refund under the guarantee in Section 3, request it before deleting your account.
7. How to Request a Refund and Response Times
Email support@avimath.com and include:
- The email address of your avimath account.
- The date and amount of the charge, or the receipt number.
- The type of request (14-day guarantee, duplicate charge, or other). For the 14-day guarantee, you do not have to explain why.
The date of your request is the date of your first email, even if some detail is missing; if so, we will ask you for it without affecting the deadline. To exercise the statutory right of withdrawal, this same email is enough (see Section 10).
We will review your request and reply by the same means. If the refund is approved, we process it without undue delay and, at the latest, within 14 calendar days of the request (or, for the statutory right of withdrawal, of your notifying us of your decision), to the same payment method you used.
If you disagree with our response, you may send a reasoned complaint to the same address. If you remain dissatisfied, disputes are governed by Section 20 of the Terms, without prejudice to the mandatory rights that your consumer law grants you (Section 21.3 of the Terms), including going to your consumer authority or to the courts of your place of residence where the law so guarantees.
8. Unrecognized Charges and Chargebacks
If you see an avimath charge on your statement that you do not recognize, check the date and amount against the payment processor's receipt and, if you still have questions, email us at support@avimath.com. The charge may appear on your statement as "LINK.COM*" or another name used by the payment processor.
We ask that you contact us before initiating a dispute or chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Almost all cases are resolved within a few days, and it is faster than a bank dispute. If a dispute is opened regarding an avimath charge, we revoke Premium access and cancel the subscription. The revocation and cancellation take place as soon as the dispute is opened, without waiting for its resolution, and remain in place even if the dispute is withdrawn or resolved in your favor; access is not restored automatically, and you may subscribe again at any time. Paragraph 5 of Section 8 of the Terms applies as to the state of the account (it is blocked until you pay again). This does not limit the rights that the law grants you against your bank.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may modify this Policy only in the cases and by the procedure set out in Section 19 of the Terms, of which it forms part. No change reduces the cancellation and refund rights you have already acquired for paid periods, without prejudice to what the law or a competent authority requires. Charges made before a change takes effect are governed by the version in force on the date of the charge, even if the request is submitted afterwards; changes that are favorable to you may apply immediately. The price and the plan usage limits are governed by paragraph 7 of Section 8 of the Terms.
10. Statutory Right of Withdrawal or Regret
14-day guarantee and statutory right. The guarantee in Section 3 is a voluntary commercial improvement. In countries where the law grants consumers a right of withdrawal, cancellation, or regret for distance contracts (for example, the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the United Kingdom), that right exists independently of the guarantee and is not limited by it. The commercial guarantee and the statutory right are not cumulative for the same charge: whichever is more favorable to you applies.
Period. In the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the United Kingdom (in the United Kingdom, the right to "cancel"), you may withdraw without giving any reason within 14 calendar days from the date you enter into the subscription, which is the date you complete payment at Checkout. In other countries where the law recognizes this right, the period set by that law applies. Each new purchase opens its own period; monthly renewals do not.
How to exercise it. You have two ways, your choice, and no form is needed:
- Online: use the "Withdraw from the contract here" function on the Withdrawal page, available throughout the withdrawal period, whether or not you are signed in: enter your account email, confirm with "Confirm withdrawal", and you will receive an acknowledgment of receipt by email stating the exact date and time. You can also reach that page from "Settings" ("Refunds" section) and from the Terms and Conditions.
- By email to support@avimath.com (Avimath LLC, 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA), with an unequivocal statement of your decision.
It is enough to send it before the period expires. Avimath handles the refund through the payment processor (including Link, if it is the merchant of record for your purchase), even if the charge appears in Link's name. Withdrawal ends the contract and Premium access.
Refund. We will refund the full amount of all payments received for that purchase, including the taxes charged (Section 5), with no proportionate deduction whatsoever for any time you may have used the Service, to the same payment method you used (unless you expressly agree otherwise) and at no cost to you for the refund, without undue delay and, at the latest, within 14 calendar days of your notifying us of your decision. In the countries where the law so provides, the refund is made within the period and by the means set by that law.
If you started using the Service. The Service is available from the moment you subscribe, but Avimath does not ask you to waive withdrawal or to expressly request that the Service begin, and charges no proportionate amount for use during the period (we do not apply the deduction that Article 14(3) of Directive 2011/83/EU allows in certain cases). Using the Service within the period therefore does not limit your right or reduce your refund.
When the right does not exist. The right of withdrawal does not exist, or is lost, in the cases that the law of your country establishes; in particular, once the withdrawal period has expired. The free trial generates no charges and requires no withdrawal.
All of the above applies in the countries where the law recognizes it and without prejudice to Section 21.3 of the Terms.
This document is available in English and Spanish. In case of any conflict or inconsistency between the versions, the language rule in Section 22.7 of the Terms applies.
